What is VO2 Max?

VO2 max (maximum oxygen consumption) is the maximum amount of oxygen your body can utilize during intense exercise. It's considered the gold standard for measuring cardiovascular fitness and aerobic endurance.

VO2 max is measured in milliliters of oxygen per kilogram of body weight per minute (ml/kg/min). Higher VO2 max values indicate better cardiovascular fitness and aerobic capacity.
